Description:
The ESP8266 series, or family, of Wi-Fi chips is produced by Espresso Systems, a fabless semiconductor company operating out of Shanghai, China.
This small module allows microcontrollers to connect to a Wi-Fi network and make simple TCP/IP connections using Hayes-style commands. However, at first there was almost no English-language documentation on the chip and the commands it accepted.
ESP8266 session moderated by Eng. Hamza Hajeer which delivered to Internet of Things (IoT) Ambassadors from around 10 (private and public) universities across Jordan. The IoT program is a program that aims to define IoT Ambassadors in all Jordanian universities, empower, enable and support them (in the technical and managerial levels), in order to share their knowledge and experience to other students in their universities.
